He warns the impact of the epidemic will last long after the West African outbreak ends.
“Health systems will need to be rebuilt, disease surveillance systems established, trust in health services and authorities rebuilt, orphans educated and protected, and economic losses restored,” he writes.
After all, he notes, there will be more obstacles.

As WND reported, the World Health Organization warned Monday that Ebola is “expanding exponentially” in West Africa, with the problem so severe in Liberia that many thousands of new cases expected in country over the coming three weeks.
Last Friday, WHO reported in Geneva that one in 10 health-care workers treating Ebola patients in West Africa has become infected with the disease. MORE
CMEs (coronal mass ejection) are sometimes associated with solar flares, the most explosive events in the solar system. The sun has released two CMEs in the past two days and both are linked to solar flares. NASA says the second flare is an X1.6 class, putting it in the most intense category.
The energy from those two CMEs is heading toward Earth.
Space weather experts aren't sure yet what this solar storm will do.
"This is a pretty strong solar storm and we just won't know until it gets here" what it will do, said CNN Meteorologist Chad Myers. MORE
Recently, I stumbled across a series on YouTube that I totally fell in love with! Pastor Steven Anderson is a bit eccentric, and I'll warn you that he says some things that can be a bit radical, but I LOVE how he allows scripture to translate itself and I LOVE that he has the passion so strong for this topic that he broke down every scripture in the book and made it understandable.
For the next few weeks, I'll be breaking down his series in a readable format. It is SO understandable! I'll also be using the King James Version Bible. If you're wondering why, you can scope out my post from a couple of months ago regarding the attack being waged on scripture in the form of other translations. I feel like the King James Version is the truest translation currently available.
I'll post a link to Pastor Anderson's chapter-by-chapter videos at the bottom of each blog so that you can see his message for yourself. I'm SUPER excited to plunge head first into a topic that we are not only fastly approaching, but we very well may already be in the middle of...
Just a side note, there is quite a lot of text here to read. I tried to highlight the hot spots with white font, so if you're overwhelmed by the volume of content, just read what's in white. There is a lot of scripture referenced to reinforce the validity.

Without further ado, let's get started with Revelations Chapter 1!
Rev 1:1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; The very first sentence of the book lets the reader know that the revelation (coming, disclosure, manifestation G602) of Jesus Christ is being showed/written specifically to his servants, US! If this book was to be read by his followers, why in the world would he make it hard to understand?!
Rev 1:1-2...and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
Rev 1:3Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Rev 1:4John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; What are these seven spirits? Revelations Chapter 3 mentions them as well. Rev 3:1 "And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars;" Jesus is saying here that he has the seven spirits and the seven stars. Isaiah 11 actually backs this up. Isaiah 11:1-2 "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: and the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;" Did you notice the 7 spirits that were mentioned? 1. Spirit of the LORD 2. Spirit of Wisdom 3. Spirit of Understanding 4. Spirit of Counsel 5. Spirit of Might 6. Spirit of Knowledge 7. Fear of the LORD
Rev 1:5And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Rev 1:6And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. My first comment here is regarding the usage of "and". Pastor Anderson clarifies that in our modern vernacular, we typically interpret "and" as connecting 2 different things, but in the Bible, "and" sometimes describes the same thing... just reiterated in two different ways. Case in point, "God and His Father". They are the same person.
Rev 1:7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Notice that this verse stands completely on it's own as one complete thought. Verses 1-6 were connected and closed with an "Amen". Verse 7 starts a new thought, but it too ends in "Amen". This tells the reader that this is important information, and if you look closely, you quickly realize that this one little verse is the main theme of the entire book of Revelations. The main points are all listed: Christ coming with clouds, every eye shall see him, and the earth is in great distress when he returns.
Numerous scriptures throughout the Bible describe this exact event.
Matthew 24:21, 29-30 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Now, skipping ahead to Revelations 6, with the opening of the 6th seal we see these same exact events happening: distress on earth, the sun and moon being darkened, stars falling and the tribulation coming to a close as the Son of Man comes to gather His people.
Rev 6:12-17 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
All of these scriptures describe the SAME events, and EVERY one of these passages say that immediately AFTER the Tribulation, these events take place and THEN the Lord returns in the clouds for his people.

SO, what does the Tribulation entail, anyway? And what does "tribulation" even mean??
Matthew 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended
Tribulation = persecution because of the word. In fact, Pastor Anderson implied that tribulation is almost always man's affliction against man, neverGod's affliction against man. Tribulation has nothing to do with God's judgement.
In fact, John even tells us that he is our companion in tribulation because of the persecution he endured for the word. Rev 1:9I, John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Christ, himself, said that we would all go through tribulation. John 16:33 In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
The tribulation period will consist of the first 5 seals being opened, including the Anti-Christ's reign over the earth and his persecution of the believers. Hence, we will still be here for it. Once Christ returns and gathers the elect, then the wrath of God is poured out on the remnants of earth. The tribulation doesn't last 7 years, it's only the opening act.
Rev 1:10-18John is immediately translated in the Spirit to this futuristic event in heaven, and he spends these verses describing what the Lord Jesus Christ looks like and the Lord's instructions to him. The mystery of the seven stars and seven goldensticks are actually interpreted in the final verse of Chapter 1 (Rev 1:20).

Rev 1:19Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter; Christ is telling John to write the things which have been seen (past), the things which are (present) and the things which will be in the future. Christ is outlining the book of Revelation in this verse.
The things which "have been seen" are the things that have been written so far. The events in Chapter 1.
The things which "are", are the things that Christ wants spoken to the seven churches. A present event that Christ requests John to take note of. (Chapters 2-3)
The things which "shall be hereafter", are all of the events that happen after that. (Starting in Chapter 4) Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, "Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."
Bottom Line: We will be here during the Tribulation. According to the scriptures, the tribulation doesn't last the full 7 years, it only lasts the first portion. AFTER the Tribulation, the sun and moon are darkened, the stars fall from heaven and the earth is in great distress. That's when Christ returns for his people. Once we are gathered together in heaven, God pours out His wrath on the remnants of the earth.

The Country of Birth (COB) is Romania. This where people fled to escape Bosnia during the Clinton Era. The Subject ID is a Texas number assigned to all prisoners. He arrived in this country on May 20, 2014. Less then two months later, he is out on the streets, whereabouts unknown after a stop at the local Walmart in Mineola, Texas. The woman contacted the authorities that arrested him and was alarmed at what she discovered.
He was arrested in Penal County, Arizona on May 21st 2014. His arrest shows no details except N/A 13/ICE. I called the prisoner intake for Penal County and was informed he was released on June 4th into the custody of DHS immigration. They said it was a building down the road. I asked if that means they are to be deported out of the USA, and they said normally they are supposed to be. They said sometimes they are released back into the local community if someone pays a bond on them. They gave me the local DHS immigration phone number, but I am hesitant to call.
WHY ELSE WOULD THIS INMATE’S PRISON WRISTBAND SHOW UP OVER HERE IN EAST TEXAS? BECAUSE HE WAS RELEASED BACK ONTO OUR SOIL INSTEAD OF DEPORTED!!!!
Who pays the bonds on them? Shouldn’t we be worried about individuals or organizations with potential ties to terrorism paying for an inmates release when they should be deported? They came here illegally and are just released because someone or some corporation pays a bond. Obviously, if he was detained by ICE and DHS, he had no legal business to be in the country. This keeps getting deeper and deeper folks. So far, DHS hasn’t returned a phone call. MORE

"Goldsmith told Popular Science: " Interceptor use in the U.S. is much higher than people had anticipated. One of our customers took a road trip from Florida to North Carolina and he found eight different interceptors on that trip. We even found one at South Point Casino in Las Vegas.”
The towers were found in July, but the report implied that there may have been more out there.
Although it is unclear who owns the towers, ESD found that several of them were located near U.S. military bases.

Let me start off by saying that I finally saw the big NOAH movie recently. I realize that it's probably already on DVD... but life has been a bit busy this summer.
Let me just say... save yourself! Do not waste one PENNY of your money on this movie. It was horrible. There wasn't ONE shred of accuracy in it. It was so far out in left field that they should've named it something else. They re-wrote the entire story and made it incredibly depressing and dark and hopeless.
The video I'm sharing today is Pastor Joseph Prince's take on the movie. He NAILED it!!
Pastor Prince was SO on target here... I LOVE this video so much that it made my cry and I felt compelled to share it. In this video, he reminds us of the HOPE and GRACE and LOVE that were left out of the Hollywood film.
He said a phrase that really burned into my memory. At one point, when talking about God calling the animals to the ark, he briefly discusses the miracle of the natural migratory instinct of animals. He uses a specific species of butterflies as an example. These butterflies migrate from Iceland to Africa every winter, lay their eggs and when the babies are born each spring, they instinctively know to go back to the exact place in Iceland where the parents were from.
Joseph Prince comments, "How would they know to do that??? The parents have died! .....God leads them." Science can't explain it, so they call it "mother nature". Joseph Prince says that "mother nature" has nothing to do with it... it's FATHER GOD!
... God leads them. Pastor Prince talks about God making a way for Noah and his family to be saved. Noah didn't come up with the idea to build an ark on his own. GOD gave him the blueprint and the tools to protect himself. God protected the Israelites as they wandered through the desert. He was a cloud by day, and a pillar of fire by night. They didn't have to worry about where to go... they just had to follow HIM.
It reminds me of all the turmoil going on across the world with wars and rumors of wars and the pestilence that is spreading like wildfire across the globe... we don't have to be afraid of what we're going to do. If we look to God and keep our eyes solely on HIM, He will protect us and lead us to safety.
I posted an article back in June when this virus was first reported. The fact that they've transported these American patients back onto US soil - is deeply concerning, and the potential for this virus to spread is alarming.
"There is no known cure or vaccine for Ebola, which the World Health Organization says is believed to have infected 1,323 people in the West African nations of Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Nigeria between March and July 27.
Of those suspected cases, it is believed to have been fatal in at least 729 cases, according to the health organization.
It is believed to be the worst Ebola outbreak in history, and even in a best-case scenario, it could take three to six months to stem the epidemic in West Africa, Dr. Thomas Frieden, director of the CDC, told reporters on Thursday.

I'll be the first to tell you that I do NOT watch American Horror Story... nor do I watch anything that is intended to be strange/demonic or scary. I'd rather not expose my spirit to that type of energy. I'm sharing this because I thought it was fascinating that they've named their entire upcoming season "Fallen Angel".
I have an entire section of my blog devoted to the story of the fallen angels found in the book of Enoch and also the book of Genesis. I find it incredibly fascinating that this name was chosen - and that the public is being exposed to the terminology of what Revelations says will one day return to earth at the end of days.

Anyone who hasn't seen this movie, must get to the nearest theater to see it! It was a great movie that I highly recommend. It made me cry. We have such a beautiful country that, throughout history, has made some notable mistakes, but we are the greatest country that has ever been. As thousands of illegal-alien children, prompted by President Obama’s policies, overwhelm the capacity of southern border states, Border Patrol agents who essentially have been turned into child caretakers are being exposed to disease, Savage said.

"Several dozen protesters, some waving U.S. flags and signs denouncing illegal immigration, converged Tuesday outside the Border Patrol facility in Murrieta. The buses finally backed away from the facility. Their destination was not immediately known.
The protesters are upset that 136 migrants — mainly families and children — were flown to San Diego from Texas on Tuesday.
U.S. authorities are trying to deal with tens of thousands of immigrants, many of them unescorted children, who since October have flooded across the U.S. border with Mexico in the Rio Grande Valley.
The case could easily be made that much of this is motivated by the rumor of amnesty, as evidenced by the massive spike in illegal border crossings, particularly by children. But one must ask, would passing amnesty even relieve this crisis?"MORE
I love Dinesh D'Souza! Here is a video of him speaking at Saddleback Church about the existence of God and his debates with some of the strongest Atheists of our culture.
His whole philosophy is to be bi-lingual, meaning that we need to understand the Bible in order to talk with fellow Christians, but also understand history and science. You can't battle someone who is secular (an atheist) with the Bible if they reject the authority of it. Battle them using the information they accept as truth.
He doesn't encourage going out of your way to debate them, but when Christianity comes under attack, he gives great insight into how to counteract, and he explains the newest tactics being used in the fight.
We're dealing with a deeper level of evil and hatred against Christianity than ever before.
He makes such valid points, and I really admire his unique perspective!

"An outbreak of the terrifying Ebola virus emerged in the West African nation of Guinea in February and has been spreading ever since, infecting people in Sierra Leonne and Liberia as well. It is now the biggest and deadliest outbreak of Ebola since the virus was identified in 1976. The disease's spread seemed to slow down for a while, but has picked up in recent weeks. An estimated 528 people have been infected, and 337 have died in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia. While it's likely that many cases go uncounted, the Associated Press notes that previously, the largest reported death toll was in the Congo in 1976, when 280 people died. (The most widespread outbreak infected 425 people in Uganda in 2000, killing 224.) "The epidemic is now in a second wave," Bart Janssens, the director of operations for Doctors Without Borders told the Associated Press. "It is totally out of control."MORE
Arpaio thinks President Obama is deliberately courting that controversy because the current crisis on the border gives him a chance to issue more executive orders, or prod Congress into passing immigration reforms that suit the president’s taste.
“Why are they hiding these kids from the media?” Arpaio said. “Well, I think I have a theory here. I don’t think they’re all young kids. I would bet there are 16-, 17-year-olds. How do we know they’re not members of a gang coming across?” Sheriff Arpaio’s suspicions on this point appear to be well-founded, as The Washington Times has reported complaints from the National Border Patrol Council that some of the “children” surging across the border are indeed teenage gang members, often with blatant gang tattoos.MORE
“Texas can’t afford to wait for Washington to act on this crisis and we will not sit idly by while the safety and security of our citizens are threatened,” Gov. Perry said. “Until the federal government recognizes the danger it’s putting our citizens in by its inaction to secure the border, Texas law enforcement must do everything they can to keep our citizens and communities safe.”
The U.S. Border Patrol says agents in South Texas have made nearly 160,000 arrests since the Oct. 1 start of the fiscal year. That surpasses the more than 154,000 it made last year. Many of them are children from places like Guatemala and El Salvador.
The operations handled by DPS will continue at least through the end of the calender year. Law enforcement must also report back monthly to the governor and legislature with results from their enhanced efforts. MORE

He has a new book that was just released called America: Imagine a World Without Her, and he has another movie coming out on July 2nd that pertains to the book. His perspective is SO fascinating to me, and I believe it really helps explain the mindset of the man who is slowly crippling the United States of America... thereby fulfilling Bible Prophesy.
I really enjoy his information, and he has multiple books NOT pertaining to Obama that I'm interested in diving into. He is a great debater on things like communism, evolution and even life after death. He goes head to head with the big-named guys who support these topics, and he holds his own.
He discussed his books on these topics in his interview with George Noory on Coast to Coast AM on June 11, 2014. I listened to the video on Youtube, but it was immediately removed and I cannot find it to post it for you. It was called "America's Image". Sunni Muslim militants fighting to set up a hardline Islamic regime in Iraq posted shocking photos over the weekend showing captured Iraqi government soldiers being loaded by the dozen onto trucks, then gunned down in a mass grave on the side of the road. The photos documented dozens of men being loaded onto flatbed trucks then taken to a shallow ditch where it appears that they were summarily executed face down with their hands tied behind their backs. Iraq is battling an offensive by Sunni militants who have advanced to within 80 kilometres (50 miles) of Baghdad's city limits after seizing a swathe of the country's north.
"Iraq has the capacity and necessary preparations for the fight against terrorism and extremism," foreign ministry spokesman Marzieh Afkham was Sunday quoted as saying by the ISNA news agency. "Any action that complicates the situation in Iraq is not in the interests of the country nor of the region," Afkham said, adding: "The people and government of Iraq will be able to neutralise this conspiracy."
Afkham's comments come a day after President Hassan Rouhani said he believed the Iraqis have the capacity to "repel terrorism" and that Iran had not been asked for help by its neighbour. But in surprise comments, he added that Iran may consider cooperating with its arch-foe the United States to fight the Sunni extremist militants in Iraq.
"If we see that the United States takes action against terrorist groups in Iraq, then one can think about it," he said, despite the lack of diplomatic relations between Tehran and Washington for more than three decades.MORE
Christian Kenyans were specifically targeted for execution. “They came to our house at around 8 p.m. and asked us in Swahili whether we were Muslims. My husband told them we were Christians and they shot him in the head and chest,” a resident told CBC News.MORE
Another, 19-year-old Muhammad Hassan, from Portsmouth, was a student at a prestigious school. He warned on Twitter that if the US doesn’t cease threats over drone strikes on ISIS positions, 9/11-style attacks on America would follow.
The third, also from Portsmouth, promised a “killing spree” of British citizens if he were ever to return to Britain. “Imagine if someone were to detonate a bomb at voting stations or ambushed the vans that carry the casted [sic] votes. It would mess the whole system up,” came another tweet from Junaid Hussain, before he re-tweeted a warning from a like-minded countryman for British people to “watch out,” because “we’ll come back to the UK and wreak havoc.”
Among his other offenses, Hussain has also been seen posting bomb-making advice on the internet, as well as tips on how to smuggle explosive devices through airport security.MORE
The president did not give a deadline for the troops exit, only that the 275 soldiers will remain in Iraq for as long as they are needed to protect US interests. About 160 troops are already in Iraq, including 50 Marines and more than 100 U.S. Army soldiers. Some of those soldiers have only recently arrived.
Under the authorization Obama outlined, a U.S. official says the U.S. will put an additional 100 soldiers in a nearby third country where they would be held in reserve until needed. The White House says the U.S. military personnel are entering Iraq with its consent.
'The personnel will provide assistance to the Department of State,' White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said in a statement, 'in connection with the temporary relocation of some staff from the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad to the U.S. Consulates General in Basra and Erbil and to the Iraq Support Unit in Amman [Jordan].'
'The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad remains open,' Carney added, 'and a substantial majority of the U.S. Embassy presence in Iraq will remain in place and the embassy will be fully equipped to carry out its national security mission.'MORE
You can't tell me that the Catholic church is a church founded on Christ's principles. This is a church where evil runs deep and rampant. The foundational principles of the Catholic church are pagan to the core. Do some research and you'll find that I'm speaking the truth.
Research Father Malachi Martin. I love him. He was an adviser to multiple popes and wrote numerous books about the Roman Catholic church. He was faithful to God and remained faithful to the church, but he spoke very openly about the evil he saw behind closed doors inside the Vatican.
I'm not saying that all Catholics are bad... but there is definitely a sinister form of evil that prevails throughout this church's leadership - penetrating its very foundation. This is definitely the false church of Revelation.

In a 1984 document, for example, Carlson wrote to the then-archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis - John R. Roach - about one victim of sexual abuse and mentioned that the statute of limitations for filing a claim would not expire for more than two years."
A few months ago.. I stumbled across a video of a Roman Catholic nun who spent 20 years serving in a Convent. She had escaped and years later was recorded giving her testimony of what actually happens behind the closed doors of a convent. It will break your heart.
